# Hed Press

> Hed Press publishes free project pages and editorial publications. Each publication has one contextual dofollow link. Free with a site link, or $29.

Hed Press (https://hedpress.com) publishes free project pages and editorial publications. A project lives at /projects/[slug] with a nofollow link to the product site. Each publication under a project contains one guaranteed dofollow link. The link sits in a sentence. The live URL is the record. The publication anchor does not use nofollow, sponsored, or ugc.

Projects are free to create. Publications are free with a verified Hed Press badge, or $29. 5 free publications go live each day, in the order they joined the free queue. A paid publication goes live on its scheduled day once payment clears, and does not take a free slot.

The homepage lists today, yesterday, last week, and last month. Each section shows up to 20 publications. Older pages stay on their category, tag, and project URLs. Trending is the last seven days.

The domain rating of hedpress.com is 0. A dofollow attribute is guaranteed. A ranking, a traffic number, a citation by an answer engine, and a change in that domain rating are not.

- IndexNow (auto + dashboard). Free: Not included. $29: Auto HTML + .md. When a paid page goes live, IndexNow is submitted for the HTML URL and its Markdown twin. You can also re-submit from the dashboard. The free plan does not include IndexNow.
- Schedule again for tomorrow. Free: Not included. $29: Up to 3 times. From the dashboard, schedule a paid publication for extra homepage exposure tomorrow. The live article stays public; a Relaunch row appears on the homepage feed. No new Pinterest pin or IndexNow. Each paid page gets three uses. Free pages can upgrade in the dashboard to unlock it.

SEO means the title, summary, headings, and dofollow link are edited so a search engine can tell what the product is. AEO means the page is structured for answer engines: a direct opening, FAQ schema, speakable selectors, and a Markdown twin. GEO, generative engine optimization, means the opening states what the product is, who it is for, and where the link goes, in sentences an answer engine can quote. SEO, AEO, and GEO are included on the $29 plan only.

The Pinterest pin is published with the $29 article. It links to the article on this site. The dofollow backlink is the anchor inside the article, not the pin.

IndexNow submission is included on the $29 plan only. Paid pages are submitted automatically when they go live, and the owner can re-submit from the dashboard Actions menu. A successful IndexNow response triggers a confirmation email. The free plan does not include IndexNow.

Agencies often charge $500 to $1,000 for one editorial backlink. A directory listing is a logo in a catalog. This site publishes the page around the link.
